With health care all over the news, you'd think more companies would be dropping executives' posh medical benefits -- or at least keeping quiet about them. But some top leaders at public companies are still receiving gold-plated health plans or pricey physicals, courtesy of shareholders.

In 2009, 28% of Fortune 100 companies disclosed the cost of executives' 2008 health benefits or physicals in their proxy filings, according to research firm Equilar. That's up from 21% the year before.

Such "enhanced" physicals, as they're sometimes called, can include everything from full-body CT scans to stress-reduction training and "integrative healing modalities," and can be held in exclusive settings such as Canyon Ranch in Tucson, West Virginia's Greenbrier Resort, or private suites at top university hospitals.

Meanwhile, the Kaiser Family Foundation found that average medical premiums for a family more than doubled over the past decade and rose 5% in 2009 alone, to $13,375. Of that, $3,515 was paid directly by employees.

Check out the sampling of services below to see what kind of green was laid out by companies to keep their bosses in the pink.
